Baseball Recap: Lake Brantley Takes a Loss

Lake Brantley lost against Windermere back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lake Brantley Patriots lost 9-3 to the Windermere Wolverines. The loss was the Patriots' first of the season.

Lake Brantley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maurice Brown, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Brown is also crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stolen at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lake Brantley fell to 2-1. As for Windermere, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Brantley will host Oviedo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Windermere, they will face off against New Smyrna Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
