It's the ultimate high school football prize — a state championship. To reach the pinnacle of your state requires long hours over the summer, double days in the fall and then dedication from August through November. Quite simply, you don't run into a football state title by accident.
Some are lucky to hoist the championship trophy once in their lifetime, while, for others, it's a legacy set forth by previous teams to strive for. Thirteen teams (the Top 10 plus ties) own state title winning streaks of at least four years with Las Vegas' Bishop Gorman claiming the Nevada prize an amazing nine straight times.
