Christian won the last time they faced Mt. Carmel and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sundevils. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

While Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mt. Carmel scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 23-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Taya Vincent paced Christian's offense, picking up 18 kills. Vincent got some help from Maxim? Pheasant and her 47 assists. Pheasant also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Paetyn Tamp, racking up three apiece.

Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mt. Carmel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Carlsbad on the 21st. As for Mt. Carmel, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Point Loma on the 21st.
