Basketball Recap: Loreauville Comes Up Short

Loreauville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-20 loss at the hands of the Cecilia Bulldogs. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Loreauville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Cecilia, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Loreauville will venture away from home to face off against Vermilion Catholic on January 6, 2026. As for Cecilia, they have already played their next game, a 48-43 win against Breaux Bridge on the 28th.
