Volleyball Game Preview: Lake Braddock Bruins vs. West Potomac Wolverines

After both having extra time off, the Lake Braddock Bruins and the West Potomac Wolverines will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Lake Braddock came up short against Fairfax and fell 3-1. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lake Braddock started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Lake Braddock saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jacob Wong had 18 digs and four assists. Those 18 digs set a new season-high mark for Wong.

Meanwhile, West Potomac got the win against Robinson on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Lake Braddock's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for West Potomac, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Everything went Lake Braddock's way against West Potomac in their previous meeting back in September, as Lake Braddock made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
