Softball Game Preview: Palmyra Cougars vs. Bishop McDevitt Crusaders

The Palmyra Cougars will take on the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palmyra hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Monday just wasn't the day for Palmyra's offense. They came up short against Red Land on Monday, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt lost 23-16 to Cedar Crest on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (13), the Crusaders still had to take the loss.

Palmyra's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Bishop McDevitt, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Palmyra skirted past Bishop McDevitt 5-4 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crusaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
