Basketball Game Preview: Cedaredge Bruins vs. Grand Valley Cardinals

The Cedaredge Bruins are taking a road trip to face off against the Grand Valley Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedaredge will be strutting in after a win while Grand Valley will be coming in after a loss.

Cedaredge will head into Tuesday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a 34-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged North Fork out 47-44.

Brady Cooper was the offensive standout of the matchup as he went 6 of 13 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Logan Sanders, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, Grand Valley came up short against Coal Ridge on Tuesday and fell 65-57. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Grand Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Cedaredge, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Cedaredge barely slipped by Grand Valley when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 59-58. Will Cedaredge repeat their success, or does Grand Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
