Soccer Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

Northeast lost against Henry County back in August of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Patriots, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Northeast can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 195th, while Henry County are ranked 50th).

Northeast's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7-3. As for Henry County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2-3.

Coming up, Northeast will face off against Clarksville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Henry County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
