Football Recap: Watford City Comes Up Short

Watford City lost against Devils Lake back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Firebirds. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Watford City now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Devils Lake, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Watford City will challenge Kindred at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 11.9 points per game this season, so the Wolves' offense will have their work cut out for them. Devils Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
