Softball Recap: Willis Takes a Loss

Willis kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Lake Belton Broncos by a score of 1-0.

Alexi Ford was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

The victory made it two in a row for Lake Belton and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Willis will be taking part in a tournament against Ingleside at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Belton, they will take on Argyle in a tournament on Friday.
