Basketball Game Preview: Cambridge Trojans vs. Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves

The Cambridge Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cambridge saw some tournament action on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 47-30 victory over Ravenna.

Meanwhile, Maywood/Hayes Center waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Eagles, posting a 65-24 win. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Maywood/Hayes Center's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Cambridge, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Cambridge didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Maywood/Hayes Center when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 36-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cambridge since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
