Basketball Recap: Plainfield East Takes a Loss

Plainfield East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 73-49 to the Oswego East Wolves. The Bengals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-22.

Plainfield East's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Oswego East, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.

Plainfield East won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Chicago Mt. Carmel at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Oswego East, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Oswego at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
