Sodus put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Red Creek Rams 11-0. The matchup marked the Spartans' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The team relied heavily on Evan Laird, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and one stolen base while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Carter Salerno, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Sodus always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .560. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Sodus pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 6.7 runs this season. As for Red Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Sodus wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-0 win against Lyons on the 25th. As for Red Creek, they have also already played their next contest, an 18-1 defeat against Clyde-Savannah on the 25th.
