Softball Recap: Warren Central Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Warren Central can now relate to. They lost 15-5 to the North Central Panthers on Tuesday. The Warriors have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Natalie Hiliard was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Julie Dever, who earned one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Warren Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for North Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13-1.

As of now, neither Warren Central nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
