Volleyball Game Preview: Apache Junction Prospectors vs. Seton Catholic Sentinels + How To Watch

Apache Junction hasn't had much luck against Seton Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Prospectors will venture away from home to square off against the Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Apache Junction came up short against Florence on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-10, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Seton Catholic suffered their biggest loss since September 18th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Valley Christian. The Sentinels have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Seton Catholic was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 25-17.

Apache Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Seton Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Apache Junction might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Seton Catholic in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Prospectors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
