There's no place like home for Hamden, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lauralton Hall Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Green Dragons in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won six in a row.

Hamden's got stronger as the match went on, holding Lauralton Hall to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-9.

Felicity Potkay paced Hamden's offense, picking up ten kills. Potkay got some help from Ellie Solomon and her 14 assists. Kerlin Duran and Tamia Walters kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Lauralton Hall's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklyn Salinas, who had ten kills and five digs. Luciana Ondis was another key player, getting four digs and two aces.
