Soccer Recap: Lincoln Northeast Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Lincoln Northeast was not quite Bryan's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 1-0. Lincoln Northeast were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bryan apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Lincoln Northeast now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Bryan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lincoln Northeast will face off against rival Lincoln High at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bryan is set to square off against their familiar foe Omaha Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Bryan's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
