Basketball Game Preview: Jeffersonville Red Devils vs. Scottsburg Warriors

The Jeffersonville Red Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Scottsburg Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Saturday, Jeffersonville didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Evansville North, but they still walked away with a 60-56 victory.

Meanwhile, Scottsburg was able to grind out a solid win over Trinity Lutheran on Monday, taking the game 63-52.

Scottsburg's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-12. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Jeffersonville, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Jeffersonville strolled past Scottsburg when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 66-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jeffersonville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
