It was a good run, but West Greene unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 5-2 to the Coalfield Yellow Jackets.

West Greene's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Coalfield, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, West Greene will take on Hampton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Coalfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Chuckey-Doak on the 12th.
