Greenback waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Midway Green Wave by a score of 18-13. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-6 on April 2nd.

The team relied heavily on Karli Hammontree, who went 3-for-4 with four runs and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Emma Anderson, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Greenback always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory got Greenback back to even at 6-6. As for Midway, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Coming up, Greenback will venture away from home to take on Eagleton College & Career Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Midway, they will host Rockwood at 6:35 p.m. on Thursday.
