Softball Game Preview: Frisco Raccoons vs. Liberty Redhawks

The Frisco Raccoons will face off against the Liberty Redhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Frisco is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Memorial just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 9-3 to the Warriors.

Frisco saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Smith, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 19 runs the game before, Liberty was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against Emerson, falling 10-1. The loss continues a trend for the Redhawks in their meetings with the Mavericks: they've now lost three in a row.

Frisco's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
