Volleyball Recap: West Chargers vs. Emporia Spartans
West lost against Emporia back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Chargers fell 2-0 to the Emporia Spartans. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Emporia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaylee Dewitt, who had six kills and two blocks.
West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21-5. As for Emporia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-10.
West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Emporia, they will square off against Lawrence at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
