Baseball Recap: Webster County Trojans vs. Greenwood Gators

Webster County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenwood Gators. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Webster County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Canaan Taylor, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
