North Forney hadn't done well against Rockwall-Heath recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The North Forney Falcons had just enough and edged out the Rockwall-Heath Hawks 15-13. The game was the first time the Falcons have beaten the Hawks on their field since May 16, 2015.

The team relied heavily on Aundrea Wilson, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Natalie Rodriguez, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.

North Forney's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-11-1. As for Rockwall-Heath, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Coincidentally, North Forney and Rockwall-Heath will both be playing Royse City the next time they take the field. Rockwall-Heath will head out to face Royse City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while North Forney will host them at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th.
