Softball Recap: Minford Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Minford's offense. They came up short against the Portsmouth West Senators on Wednesday, falling 22-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Minford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Portsmouth West, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Minford will head out to challenge South Webster at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Portsmouth West, they will head out on the road to face off against Huntington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
