Soccer Recap: Thursday's Win Is Harrison's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Harrison walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Troy Trojans 4-3. Harrison's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

They hit Troy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Evelyn Freel (2), Olivia Neal, and Abby Smith.

Harrison is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-1-4 record this season. As for Troy, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 15-3-1 record.

Coming up, Harrison will take on St. Ursula Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
