Baseball Recap: Mason County Central Comes Up Short

Mason County Central fell victim to North Muskegon and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Norsemen, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 14-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Mason County Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Chye, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Mason County Central's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for North Muskegon, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

While Mason County Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
