Volleyball Recap: Corona Takes a Loss

Corona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beaumont Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Corona's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Beaumont, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Corona will welcome King at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beaumont, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Moreno Valley on the 8th.
