Stillwater is 2-8 against Greenwich since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Warriors will look to defend their home field against the Witches at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Stillwater's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four matches.
Stillwater's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Waterford-Halfmoon as they made off with a 16-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Fordians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Eden Resch made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Resch was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
In other batting news, Katie Coogan was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sofia Perniciaro, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Stillwater was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Greenwich sidestepped Hoosick Falls for an 8-6 win. That's two games straight that the Witches have won by exactly two runs.
Stillwater pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Greenwich, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.
