Volleyball Recap: Rangely Comes Up Short

Rangely was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Meeker Cowboys. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since November 11, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-12.

Natalie Bollinger paced Rangely's offense, picking up three kills. Bollinger were helped by Isabella Cox and Rylee Kenney, who contributed four assists each. Finally, Bollinger was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Rangely's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Meeker, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Rangely didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Vail Christian on the 26th. As for Meeker, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hayden on the 26th.
