Soccer Recap: Lebanon Takes a Loss

Lebanon lost against Stewarts Creek two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Red Hawks, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, Lebanon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Stewarts Creek are ranked 34th).

Emil Martinez wasn't going to let Stewarts Creek walk away unscathed as he scored both of Lebanon's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Lebanon dropped their record down to 4-10-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Stewarts Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4-1.

Coming up, Lebanon will venture away from home to square off against Smyrna at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Stewarts Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
