Softball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

If Cleveland was feeling good fresh off their 15-3 takedown of Caney Creek last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians came up short against The Woodlands Highlanders on Tuesday, falling 16-4. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Highlanders recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-24. As for The Woodlands, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Coincidentally, Cleveland and The Woodlands will both be playing College Park the next time they take the field. The Highlanders will host the Cavaliers at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Indians will head out to face them at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.
