Baseball Game Preview: Pandora-Gilboa Rockets vs. Vanlue Wildcats

Pandora-Gilboa is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Vanlue a 16-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Pandora-Gilboa Rockets will host the Vanlue Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pandora-Gilboa lost 12-2 to Leipsic on Tuesday.

Nolan Leatherman was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Arlington hit Vanlue with a four-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats came up short against the Red Devils, falling 11-5.

Brady Hamilton was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Hamilton was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Hamilton wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Toby Reed, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Vanlue's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Pandora-Gilboa, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.
