Volleyball Game Preview: Foothills Christian Knights vs. Helix Highlanders

The Foothills Christian Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Helix Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Foothills Christian came up short against Bishop's on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Helix, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Grossmont on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Highlanders haven't had any issues with the Foothillers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.

Helix's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Foothills Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season.

Foothills Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Helix when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Highlanders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
