Volleyball Game Preview: Eisenhower Tigers vs. Andale Indians

Eisenhower hasn't had much luck against Andale recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Tigers will be taking part in a tournament against the Indians at 9:00 a.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Eisenhower faced off against Goddard on Tuesday. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16.

Taylor Morgan was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and six assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, Andale was able to grind out a solid victory over Buhler on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0.

Andale easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16.

Andale's win came from a few key players Eisenhower will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Mia Aouad, who had 12 assists and five digs. Another player making a difference was Kate McHatton, who had nine digs and one assist.

Andale's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Eisenhower, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Eisenhower came out on top in a nail-biter against Andale in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
