Soccer Recap: Anson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Anson lost against Monroe back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bearcats lost 13-0 to the Redhawks. While losing is never fun, Anson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 547th, while Monroe are ranked 240th).

Anson is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. As for Monroe, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Anson is set to challenge their familiar foe West Stanly at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Monroe will take on rival Parkwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
