Baseball Recap: Campbell Hall's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

Campbell Hall had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Crossroads Roadrunners by a score of 6-2 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-2 back in March.

Jonah Smiedt tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Campbell Hall is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-9 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryan Fowler, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Jared Page was another key player, earning one RBI and three runs.

Campbell Hall's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Crossroads, their record now sits at 11-8.
