Basketball Recap: Kotzebue Comes Up Short

Kotzebue suffered their closest defeat since March 8, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bethel Warriors by a score of 43-41. The Huskies have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Kotzebue now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Bethel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kotzebue will face off against Barrow on Friday. As for Bethel, they will head out on the road to challenge Nome-Beltz at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
