Volleyball Recap: Bishop Gorman Wins Going Away Against Chaparral

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bishop Gorman walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Chaparral Cowboys on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Gaels have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cowboys, too.

One reason for the win was Bishop Gorman's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-16, 25-11.

The win made it two in a row for Bishop Gorman and bumps their season record up to 11-16. As for Chaparral, they now have a losing record of 16-17.

Coming up, Bishop Gorman will square off against Mojave at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rattlers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Gaels surely won't give up without a fight. Chaparral does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
