If Tattnall County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Savannah Country Day, they should've done a better job of containing Thomas Holland. The Hornets walked away with a 34-21 win over the Warriors on Friday for which the team can thank Holland, who rushed for 106 yards and one TD on only 14 carries, and also threw for 197 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

Savannah Country Day's record now sits at 2-3. As for Tattnall County, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Savannah Country Day and Tattnall County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Hornets will face off against Savannah Christian at 7:30 p.m. on October 3 with a big rank disadvantage (253 vs. 93). Meanwhile, Tattnall County (ranked 330th) will meet Toombs County (ranked 99th) at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
