Football Recap: Huge Rushing Attack Leads Dublin Coffman over Miamisburg

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Whitmer, Dublin Coffman was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the Miamisburg Vikings with a 10-6 victory. The Shamrocks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Brayden Scholl had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 119 yards, and also threw for 56 yards and one touchdown.

Scholl was just one part of a punishing run game: Dublin Coffman was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Miamisburg only rushed for 91 rushing yards.

The win got Dublin Coffman back to even at 1-1. As for Miamisburg, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Dublin Coffman will head out to face off against Dublin Jerome at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Miamisburg, they will square off against Hilliard Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
