Devine entered their tilt with Gonzales on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Apaches an 11-0 shutout. Devine's win bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Gonzales, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.
Devine will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Apaches: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
