Football Recap: Duluth Wildcats vs. Meadowcreek Mustangs
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Duluth). They blew past the Meadowcreek Mustangs, posting a 90-0 win on the road. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won three contests by 26 points or more so far this season.
Duluth got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Demarcus Rogers out in front who rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown. Those 104 rushing yards gave Rogers a new career-high. Bless Benton did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 57 receiving yards.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Duluth was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 236 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 151 rushing yards in four consecutive matches.
