Basketball Recap: South Central Takes a Loss

South Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-23 loss at the hands of the New London Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-9 back in December of 2024.

South Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for New London, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5.

South Central has already played their next match, a 60-53 defeat against Black River on the 8th. As for New London, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats challenge the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Crestview will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something New London surely won't give up without a fight.
