Highlands Christian saw some tournament action on Monday. They took a hard 79-64 fall against Fort Lauderdale.

Meanwhile, South Plantation gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Monday. They walked away with a 74-62 win over Piper. The victory continues a trend for the Paladins in their matchups with the Bengals: they've now won three in a row.

South Plantation's win came from a few key players Highlands Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Travis Chin, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Davis, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards.
