Basketball Recap: Whittemore-Prescott Comes Up Short

Whittemore-Prescott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Heston Academy Patriots 68-18. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent loss being a 83-15 defeat back in January.

Whittemore-Prescott's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Heston Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Coming up, Whittemore-Prescott and Hale will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Heston Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Au Gres-Sims at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Heston Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
