Basketball Recap: Cimarron Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wagon Mound last Tuesday, Cimarron came back down to earth. The Cimarron Rams were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 60-59 to the Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blue/Lady Blue this season, with their most recent loss being a 36-31 defeat on February 4th.

Cimarron's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Roy/Mosquero, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-5.

Cimarron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roy/Mosquero, they will take on Maxwell at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Roy/Mosquero's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
