Modoc hadn't done well against Fall River recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Braves blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Braves: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Modoc's got stronger as the match went on, holding Fall River to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-13.

Katie Erquiaga paced Modoc's offense, picking up nine kills. Erquiaga got some help from Allie Weber and her 17 assists. Aaliyah Sevilla controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Modoc has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11-2 record this season. As for Fall River, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-19.

Coming up, Modoc will head out to face off against Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fall River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
