The Syracuse Titans will challenge the Layton Lancers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Syracuse is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Syracuse nor Davis made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Titans fell just short of the Darts by a score of 6-5. The Titans have struggled against the Darts recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Syracuse saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Reed, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 20 runs the game before, Layton was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against Logan, falling 14-1.

Layton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Syracuse, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Everything went Syracuse's way against Layton in their previous meeting on April 10th, as Syracuse made off with an 18-12 victory. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
