Recap: Bay Tornadoes vs. Pensacola Tigers
The Bay Tornadoes and the Pensacola Tigers squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly the Bay Tornadoes had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Tigers on the road and fell 47-3. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bay has scored all season.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense:
Zoey Davis,
Aiyana Hunt, and
Shania Heard posted a point each. Hunt also led the team in rebounds with five.
Bay has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Pensacola, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8.
Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pensacola, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-27 win vs. South Walton on the 9th.
